Katie Pearl Davis, age 94, of Crosbyton, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2025.
She was born on January 6, 1931, in Crosbyton to Julius Jewel and Carl Clemmie (Brantley) Pierce. In 1948, she married Thomas Davis of Crosbyton. They were married for 76 years.
Katie was a life-long member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church and was employed as the church secretary. She was also the secretary for the Crosby County Extension Service and was supportive of the 4-H program.
She was a wonderful cook, loved reading her bible, working crossword puzzles, and visiting with friends at Senior Citizens. However, above all she loved God, and she loved and valued her family, especially her grandchildren who deeply loved their KeeNaw. She lived her faith, and her family knew they could always depend on her prayers.
Katie is survived by her husband Thomas, son Marty Davis and wife D'Ann from Crosbyton, son Tony Davis and wife Lisa from Crosbyton, and brother Donald Pierce of Lubbock. Four grandchildren also survive her; Marsha Leach and husband Greg of Pleasanton; Kayla Vinson and husband Tyler of Abilene; Cole Davis and wife Jennifer of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Megan Chambless and husband Jared of Lubbock; seven great-grandchildren: Pierce and Parker Leach; Joel, Rebekah, and Evelyn Davis; and Hannah and Luke Chambless.
Katie was preceded in death by her parents, son Joel Clifford Davis, brothers JC Pierce, Raymond Pierce, Quill Pierce, Dick Pierce, David Pierce, and one sister Lula Mae Johnson.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Crosbyton First Baptist Church, 300 West Birch, Crosbyton, Texas 79322, or to the Crosbyton Senior Citizens, 119 North Berkshire in Crosbyton.
