Kathaline Menefee McBride, was 87 years old at the time of her death. She was born on November 10, 1934 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Benjamin and Pauline Menefee. She departed this earthly life on January 19, 2022.

She married Isriel "Jack" McBride on March 31, 1951 in Crosbyton, Texas. In that union, she had two girls and two boys. She was a committed homemaker and accomplished whatever she set her mind to do. Kathaline resided in Ralls, Texas for 56 years then moved to Lubbock, Texas until her death.

Kathaline was preceded in death by her husband, Isriel McBride; son, Issac McBride; father, Benjamin Menefee; mother, Pauline Menefee; and the      following siblings: Jesse Menefee, Robert Earl Menefee, Bill Lee Menefee,  Bernice Evans, Golden Morgan, Georgie Mae Smith, and Claudia Cotton.

She leaves her memories and legacy to Helen Williams, her daughter of   Lubbock, Texas; Dorothy Starks, her daughter of Dallas, Texas; Isriel McBride Jr., her son of Richmond, Texas; and two sisters, Annie Morgan of Burleson, Texas and Joyce Bean of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She also leaves nine grandchildren; to our knowledge, 10 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
