Juan Salazar 71 of Lorenzo passed away September 10, 2022 with his loved ones by his side. Juan was born May 7, 1951 in Brownsville, Texas to Anastacio and Maria Gonzales Salazar. He married the love of his life Rosie Trevino on August 1, 1973 in Ralls, Texas and they had many blessed years together. Juan worked for the Lorenzo Textile Mill for several years. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Guadalupe Uribe, Francis Cantu, Norma Salazar, Connie Rodriguez, Mary Casarez, Silvia and Abram Salazar.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; two daughters, Sonya Salazar of Lorenzo, Chelsey Salazar of Goodland Ks., one son, Joe Anthony and wife Tracie Salazar of San Antonio; siblings, Anastacio Salazar Jr., Isabell Compos, Santos Bartlett, Hilario Salazar, Paul Salazar, Maggie Martinez, Nora Salazar; eight grandchildren, Graciella Lopez, Andreya Lopez, Jonathan Torres, Devin Salazar, Izaya Salazar, Josiah Salazar, Isaac Salazar, Eric Salazar, and four step- grandchildren, Courtney, Ethan, Owen, Kain.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday  September 13, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo, burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held Monday September 12, 2022 from 6:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
