Ralls, Texas—Our beloved mother, Edith Joyce McDermett Whitehead, age 87, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Carillon House. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Ralls Cemetery followed by a celebration of her life at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Lakeridge United Methodist Church in Lubbock, Texas. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls, Texas.
