Johnny Gonzales, 43, of Lubbock passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on September 1, 2020. He was born September 22, 1976 in Killeen, Texas to Johnny Mitchell and Myoung Hui.

Johnny grew up in Muleshoe, Texas and was a graduate of the class of 1994.  He attended Texas Tech University where he earned his Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology in December 2010. He married Triny Rodriguez on October 2, 2010 in Lubbock, Texas.

Johnny was a loving father, caring friend, and cherished partner. His kids were his pride and joy and he cherished every moment spent with them. Johnny could make anyone and everyone laugh. Those that knew him best knew there would never be a dull moment when he was around. He was larger than life, a great man and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather John Pfluger, his grandparents, two aunts, and one cousin.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife; Triny Rodriguez, his son; Buddy Gonzales, his daughter; Cassandra Gonzales, his brother; Benjamin Pflueger, his sister; Veronica Gonzales, and his niece; Maisie Pflueger. He leaves behind many loving friends and family who will carry his memory and his laughter with them forever.
