Joey "Joe" Bishop Watkins, 83, of Crosbyton, and formerly of Abilene passed away on March 15, 2022.

Joe was born February 11, 1939 in Knox City, TX to Joe and Emma Shaw Watkins. He graduated at Knox City High School and worked for Payless Cashways for over 20 years before his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed watching car racing. Joe never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone. He will be missed dearly by his friends and loved ones.

Joe is survived by one daughter, Wendi Watkins (David Atkinson) of Crosbyton; two sons, Joe David Watkins, and Mike Watkins (Jackie) of Hawley, TX; five grandchildren, Olyvia Hamilton, Alexandria Hamilton, Victoria Hamilton, Cole Watkins and Joseph Watkins; and his loving cat "Peanut".

He is preceded in death by his parents.
