Joe Bailey Popchoke 85 of Ralls passed away April 18, 2018.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Ralls.  Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.  Visitation will be Friday April 20, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Joe was born June 21, 1932 in Altus Oklahoma to Roy C. and Jewell Popchoke.  He attended Altus Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1950.  He married Grace Freshour on September 1, 1950 in Altus Oklahoma.  He served in the U.S. Army for two years and moved to Ralls in 1955.  He worked as a machinist for many years.  He owned and operated Apex Machine Inc. in Ralls and retired in 2012.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ralls where he served as a deacon. He was a volunteer for Boy Scouts of American where he was bestowed the honor of The Order of the Arrow.

He is preceded in death by his son Roy Don Popchoke, by his parents, a brother Donald Wayne Popchoke and sister Edna Antongiovanni.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Robin Terrell and her husband Ron of San Angelo and a daughter in law Terri Meyer of Chinook Montana. Sister in law Morene Popchoke, Eight grandchildren, Lauren Logg and husband Jared, Emily Popchoke and her husband Kelby Doss, Clinton, Kylie, and Kassidy Popchoke, Alex, Zach and Morgan Terrell.  One great grand daughter Kaydence Popchoke. Three sisters, Beth Betts, Mildred Barnette, and Judy Sumpter.
