Joe Kenneth Hargrove, 88, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 22, 2022.  He was born February 6, 1933 in Crosbyton, Texas to Clark Echols and Lillie Mae Hargrove. He married the love of his life Joyce Miller on February 11, 1956 in Crosbyton, Texas.

Joe was a well known resident in Crosbyton and served as a positive impact to the community. Throughout his years in Crosbyton he had many roles such as; Mayor of Crosbyton, City Counselman, School Board, Board of Directors of Pioneer Memorial Museum, Board of Directors of Erickson Farm & Ranch Museum, Board of Directors of South Plains Community Action Association, Member of Gideons International, Past District Governor of Lions Club International, Lifetime Member of Lions Club International, and was a Deacon of the First Baptist Church. Joe's presence will be sorely missed by his loved ones and the community of Crosbyton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Joe is survived by his wife; his children, L'Rae Watson (Newel) and Shawn Hargrove (Amy); his sisters, Jean Stokes of Lubbock, Nelda Webb of Bakersfield, CA; and his grandchildren, Slayden, Emilee, Neeley, Koji, Zack, and Kyle.
