Joseph William Fahrlender of Idalou TX was born on April 9 ^th , 1933 in Roswell, NM. He was the son of William McShurley Fahrlender and Irene Chaney Fahrlender of Roswell, NM. Joseph grew up on a ranch north of Roswell. He had 5 siblings, Frank McShurley Fahrlender of Roswell who proceeded him in death as did Helen Fahrlender Dershum of Santa Monica, CA, Danny Fahrlender died in early childhood as well as Claudia May Fahrlender. He has a sister Sue Fahrlender of Henderson, NV. He married the love of his life, Estrela Joyce Marshall of Rowell NM in 1951. They had 5 children William Jurl "WJ" Fahrlender who proceeded Joe in death, Carolyn Irene Anderson, the wife of Ricky Drew Anderson of Hagerman, NM; Adona Vae Driscoll married to William Paul Driscoll of N Charleston, SC; DeeOta "Dee" Joyce Morphy of Girard, AZ and Tabetha Kay Fahrlender Rogers wife of James Christopher Rogers of Vernon, TX. He was blessed with eleven grandchildren, Sisty Driscoll, Jared Driscoll, Deona Santos, Drew Anderson, Samantha Mason, Heather Morphy, Bradlee Davis, Christopher Morphy, Doniya Davis, Danielle Davis, Nikkita Rogers, Megan Gutierrez. He had 25 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 14 ^th , 2017 at Idalou Church of Christ at 10:00AM, private burial in Roswell NM. Funeral arraignments being handled by Adams Funeral Home of Ralls, TX.
