Joan Patricia Garver, 86, of Crosbyton passed away on February 15, 2026. She was born on November 22, 1939, in Glendale, CA to Robert Bodman and Alice Beatrice Brooks.

Joan was a very active person who loved to stay busy. She loved crocheting, studying the Bible, traveling, going to the beach and the casino and when winding down she loved watching games shows and Gunsmoke. Her biggest passions were her dog Foxie and her grandchildren. Joan was an amazing person and will be missed dearly by her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Cecil Garver, her son, David Garver, and her grandson Bubba Birmelin.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Roseann Smith and husband Benji, her son, Robert Garver and wife Katrina, 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
