Jimmie Mae Lang, 83, of Crosbyton went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18, 2024. She was born January 4, 1941 in Kosse, Texas to L.D. and Amelia Bradley Burgess.

She married the love of her life Edward Hayward Lang in Marlin, Texas in 1957. Jimmie enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and thrift shopping. She loved children and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jimmie is survived by her four sons; Jimmie Lee Lang Sr. and wife Teresa of Crosbyton, Leon and Sthanty Lang of Lubbock, Ronny Lang of Temple, and Rayford Lang and wife Corina also of Temple; one daughter, Katha Lang of Lubbock; one brother, Ocie Burgess of Lubbock; two sisters, Lillian Moore of Crosbyton and Elsie Clark of Lockney; she also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 55 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; one sister, Gene Burgess; and three brothers, L.D. Burgess Jr., Billy Fletcher Burgess, and Eugene Burgess.

Visitation will be from 4-6 PM, Friday March 22nd at the Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.

A funeral service will be at 10 AM Saturday March 23rd at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Gentry officiating.
Interment will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery.
