Jesus Lara Puente, 93, of Lorenzo passed away on March 24, 2026. He was born May 29, 1932, in Cameron, Texas to Patricio Puente and Epimenia Lara.

Jesus loved music and playing his guitar. He was a truck driver for many years and loved his job. His biggest passion was his family, he enjoyed family gathering and cooking out with them. He will be missed dearly by his friends and loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Albert and his brother Joaquin.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Liz Marquez, Esther Lopez, Frances Dominguez all of Lorenzo, his sons; Daniel Puente and Patricio Puente, his brothers; Policarpo Puente of Lorenzo, Tacho Puente of Fort Worth, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
