Jesus M."Jessie" Trevino, 86, of Lorenzo passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born on June 4, 1929 in Driscoll, Texas to Merardo and Roberta (Garcia) Trevino. Jessie married Valentina Bustos on December 28, 1964 in Lubbock.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Valentina on October 28, 1998 and a son Richard Trevino, in 1966.

Jessie is survived by his daughter, Nelda Trevino Martinez of Lorenzo; three grandchildren; Fabian Martinez of Lorenzo; Matthew Martinez of Lubbock; and Jessica Martinez of Lorenzo; and one great-grandson, Marcos Antonio.

Rosary will be held 7 pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo. Funeral Mass will be 2 pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, with burial following in Idalou Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
