Jessie LaVerne Davis 74 of Lubbock passed away September 18, 2021. She was born March 12, 1947 in Odessa, Texas to Allin and LaVerne McKee Tidwell. Jessie married Clyde Denny Davis; he passed away September 10, 2000. She was a loving wife and mother, and supported her husband in whatever he did. She was a very strong and self sufficient person who loved to minister to people and always thought of others first. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Jessie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Those left to cherish her memory are; two sons, James Davis of Oklahoma City, and Denny Davis of Crosbyton; two sisters Martha Knowles of Snyder, Barbara Tidwell of Albany; thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton, burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. A visitation will be held Monday September 20, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
