Jean "Memaw" Lajuan Marshall, 77, of Spur passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025, with her loving family members by her side. She was born on July 24, 1947, in Spur, TX to Kenneth and Wanda Mayo Atkinson. She married the love of her life Miller Davis Marshall on June 2, 1964, in Roaring Springs, TX.

Jean was an amazing person with many talents and hobbies such as cooking, sewing, gardening, art & crafts and her favorite of all, keeping her grands in line. She will be missed dearly by her friends and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Creg Marshall; two brothers, David and Steve Atkinson; one sister, Darlene Eller; a son in law, Shawn Hart; a grandson, Casey Marshall and one great granddaughter, Kimber Shafer.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Miller Marshall of Spur, Texas; her daughters, Amy Hart, Lujuana Bell, and Machell Marshall all of Spur; her brothers, Vance Atkinson of Wichita Falls, Kenny Atkinson of Stamford; her sisters, Judy Bland of Clarendon, Janie Day of Spur, Kathy Hughes of Afton, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
