"Javan Jerrell Wood passed away March 15, 2026, at the age of 44. He was born Oct 13, 1981 in Lubbock, TX. He is survived by his children Vera, Caspian, Jaesh, Traven, and Vincent; parents, Larry and Vandra Wood; loving coparents of his children, Carrie, Trish, and Emily; sisters, Bethany and Cedra; and a long list of beloved band mates, friends, and family.
Those who knew him will remember him for his love of spirited debate, music, feeding others, the power of language, and above all, his children.

His memorial service will be held at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls, TX on Friday, March 20 from 6-8pm."
