Obituary

James Reynolds 84 of Lubbock passed away February 26, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beacon Heights Baptist Church in Lubbock, TX. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia, Texas under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He was born June 02, 1934 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to William and Velma Weaver Reynolds. He married Glenna Reagan on June 12, 1955 in Canyon, Texas. James was a very loving man and had love for everyone. He loved his family and the outdoors. He enjoyed taking the kids fishing, camping and skiing. James was quite the character and had a great sense of humor. He loved going to church and was very involved, he was a deacon for 60 years in three different churches. James was an amazing man and will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Glenna Reynolds of Lubbock, his daughters; Selenda Cumby of Lubbock and Jamie Murray of Grand Prairie, his son Dwayne Reynolds of Fredericksburg, VA, his brother Jerry Reynolds and Beth wife of Darrouzett, TX, his sister Sue Collier of Canyon, his grandchildren; Stephen Cumby and wife Sarah , Russell Murray, Alesha Freitag and husband Joshua, Derek Murray, JC Reynolds, Kathrine Reynolds, Sadie Reynolds, Trey Cumby and wife Lindsay, an honorary grandchild Almut Schoffers, and three great grandchildren Luke Feitag, Jacob Freitag and Tristan Cumby.
