James Lee Nelson, 52, of Lubbock passed away on September 26, 2020. He was born April 11, 1968 in Lubbock, Texas to Vandy and Dorothy Hoople Nelson.

James was a very social person that never met a stranger. He always kept busy and loved being on the go. He loved doing crafts, word search puzzles, and collecting snow globes. He will be dearly missed by his friends and loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, his brothers; Vandy Lawrence Nelson Jr. of Lubbock, Charles Ray Nelson and wife Jenny of Slaton, his sister, Georgia Bernice Howard of Lubbock, 2 nephews and 1 niece.
