James Kris Ellison, 60, of McAdoo passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was born on September 17, 1955 in Crosbyton, Texas to June Keith Ellison and Jo (Brock) Ellison-Martin. Kris was a farmer and had lived most of his life in the Crosbyton area.

He was preceded in death by his father, June Keith Ellison; and his brother, John Keith Ellison.

Kris is survived by his mother, Jo Martin of Granite Shoals; two daughters, Kristen Norris and husband Matt of Lubbock; Kathryn Ellison of O'Donnell; his son; Robert Ellison and wife Karen of New York, NY; three sisters; Joanie Ellison of Granite Shoals; Jill Peterson of Buda; Cheryl Corey of Amarillo; and two precious grandchildren, Devyn and Deacon Norris.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.

Arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
