James Oliver Crowley Jr., 80 of Ralls passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on November 5, 2025. James was born on January 3, 1945, in Orange, Texas to Joyce Wayne Cook and James Crowley Sr. He married the love of his life Judy Miller in 1966 in Lorenzo, Texas.

James owned and operated Cook Electric for 40 plus years as an automotive electrician. Later in life he worked for Beta Ag in Ralls as a truck driver. He was a veteran who served in the Air Force Branch as a Fire Protection Specialist. He also served 26 years in the Army National Guard and in his spare time he served on the Ralls Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years. James was a great husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and he will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Judy of Ralls; his daughter, Courtney Crowley of Lubbock; his son, Jamie Crowley of Ralls; his brother, Jeff Crowley of Ralls; his sisters, Susie Mjolhus of Lubbock, Becky Chron of Fort Worth; and two granddaughters that he loved and adored, Peyton Crowley and Paige Crowley of Abilene.

Services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, November 29th at the First Baptist Church, 521 Tilford, Ralls, Tx.
