Jackie Campbell passed away at home on April 27, 2016. He was born on May 10, 1935 in Gaylord, Kansas to Leonard and Sophia Campbell. Jackie was raised by his aunt and uncle, Leo and Clara (Campbell) States in Logan, Kansas. On August 20, 1954, Jackie married Lola Post from Logan. He worked on the family farm until 1962. The family moved to Solomon, Kansas, where he was the manager of Sun Sportsman Supply Game Bird Farm and Hunting Club. In 1980, Jackie, Lola and two sons moved to Spur, Texas. Jackie was the manager of the game bird farm for Jim Barron. From 1985 to 2000, Jackie leased the bird game farm until he was forced to retire due to his health. In 2000, the family moved to their farm north of Dickens, Texas, where Jackie enjoyed doing his woodwork.

Jackie left behind his wife, Lola of Dickens; children; Cindy Campbell-Foster and husband Junior Foster of Roaring Springs, TX; Edward and Richard Campbell of Dickens, TX; grandchildren; Shane, Kyle and Amanda Ashby; John and Suzy Foster; and Debbie Robb; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
