Isaac Hinojos, 88, of Lorenzo passed from this earthly life on February 16, 2021.

He was born February 5, 1933 in Big Spring, TX to Cesareo and Dolores Urista Hinojos. He farmed for a while before enlisting in the Army during the Korean War. After his military duty, Isaac started his career in the oil industry where he worked until his retirement. He married Pauline Marquez on August 23, 1972 in Clayton, NM.

Isaac enjoyed doing leather work, spending time with family members and friends wearing and using some of his handmade projects.

He is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Medrano (Ray) of Round Rock and Lesvia Dase (Brian) of Austin; five brothers, Cesareo Hinojos, Jr., Leandro Hinojos and Roy Hinojos all of Lorenzo, Obed Hinojos of Wolfforth, TX and Beto Hinojos of California; three sisters, Irma Rodriguez and Olga Ramos both of Lubbock, and Emma Silvas of Denver City, TX; and one granddaughter, Claudia Sedillo of Buda, TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; infant daughter (Belma); five brothers, Isaias, Lupe, Efrain, Richard and Pedro Hinojos; one sister, Irene Fedelin.

Viewing will be Thursday, February 25, 2021, 9am to 5pm at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo.

Graveside service will be 2pm, Friday, February 26, 2021 with Rev. Carlos Hinojos officiating at Lorenzo Cemetery.
