Homer June Arthur 89 of Ralls, passed away Saturday January 25, 2020. June was born December 22, 1930 in Paris Texas, to Omar and Melva  Sims, she moved to Ralls to become a telephone operator where she met the love of her life Aaron Richard (Whizzer) Arthur. They were married March 10, 1949 in Ralls Texas, and were married for 54 years and eleven months before he passed away on February 9, 2004. She helped Whizzer farm in Kress, Whiteface, Hale Center, and moved back to Ralls in 1964.

June is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, and two brothers.

June is survived by three sons; Aaron Arthur and wife Joyce of Lorenzo, James Arthur and wife Wenonah of Rosenburg, and Ricky Arthur and wife Patti of Ralls. She also leaves behind two sisters; Barbara Helstrom of Lubbock, Betty Davis of Houston, eight grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 29, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Ralls with burial to follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Family request memorials are made to the Alzheimer Association or the Ralls EMS.
