Helen Sanchez, 96, of Crosbyton passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  She was born August 18, 1922 in Berclair, TX to Luciano and Francisca Dominguez.

Helen married Bruno Sanchez October 11, 1935 in Cuero, TX.  He prededed her in death in 2005. She was a homemaker, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  She babysat many children over the years, and was known for her great homemade tortillas.  She loved and touched every person she met.

Helen is survived by six sons- Jimmy Sanchez Sr. of Petersburg, Jesse Sanchez Sr. of Lubbock, Frank Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, Tony Sanchez and Martin Sanchez all of Crosbyton; four daughters- Mary Sanchez, Irene Almarez, and Annie Sanchez all of Crosbyton, and Rosie Mullins of Lubbock; and numerous grandchildren along with five generations of great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bruno Sanchez; three sons- Bruno Sanchez, Jr., Johnny Sanchez, and Benito Sanchez Sr.; and several brothers and sisters.

Rosary will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 25, 2019 at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, July 26, 2019 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Jeganathan Arulsamy officiating.
