Obituary

Guadalupe Hinojos, 79, of Lorenzo passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on September 12, 2026. She was born on October 20, 1946, in Santa Rosa, Texas to Vidal Samarripas and Guadalupe DeLoSantos.

Guadalupe was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and her favorite role a grandmother. She loved her family very much and loved spending time with them and cooking for them and she loved the color, Pink. Guadalupe was always a hard worker and great provider for her family; she worked at the Textile Mill for over 20 years. She was a person with a big heart and fostered many kids. Guadalupe was an amazing person and will be missed dearly by her friends and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Pablo and Rodolfo Samarripas; two sisters, Maria Irene Samarripas and Isabel Chavez; and a grandson, Ruben Licon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Leandro Hinojos; her children, Alice Hinojos, Elena Sanchez and husband Joe III, Delia Quintana and husband Ronnie, Brandon Hinojos, Sydney Hinojos, Lee Hinojos, Victoria Hinojos, Evelyn Gonzales and husband Manuel, Crystal Hinojos and Cici; her brother, Vidal Samarripas Jr., her sisters, Sofia Gonzales, Eva Lopez, Adela Garcia; 36 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
