Glenn Norris Jones, 87, of Crosbyton passed away Sunday April 26, 2020.

He was born April 10, 1933 in Foard County, Texas to Glenn M. and Bonnie (Norris) Jones. He was a 1951 graduate of Crowell High School, and earned his BS in medical technology from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX.  He married Moselle Hutton August 30, 1953 in Paducah, TX

Through the years Glenn was involved in FFA, Tennis Club, sports and conservation clubs and Rotary International. He enjoyed gun smithing, Dixieland Jazz, reading and collecting books and records.

Glenn was a laboratory technologist following college. He then worked as an assistant hospital administrator and then hospital administrator. He was responsible for establishing Rural Health Clinics in New Mexico, retiring in 1985.

Among his accomplishments, Glenn's biography was published in Who'sWho in the West, 20 ^th edition, 1985-1986, page 271.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Crowell while growing up, and later the Episcopal Church where he served as lay reader for 40 years.

Glenn is survived by his wife Moselle; two daughters, Jana Mabry of Crosbyton, TX and Leigh Huntsman of May, TX; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Church of the Heavenly Rest, 602 Meander St., Abilene, TX 79602.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the Crowell Cemetery in Crowell, TX with the Rite Reverend Jim Haney of St. Paul's on the Plains Episcopal Church in Lubbock, TX officiating. Services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton, TX
