Glenda June Moses Wygal King, 88, died Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her home in Lubbock, Texas. She was born in Ralls, Texas on November 11, 1934 to Earl and Minnie Moses.
Glenda received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and had a long teaching career in Odessa and Lubbock, Texas, and was an exchange teacher in Colonsay Canada for one year. She taught Math at O.L. Slaton Junior High, Lubbock High School and ended her career at Evans Junior High.
Glenda enjoyed reading - she would spend many late hours finishing the newest book by one of her many authors. She loved playing bridge and hosting bridge parties at her home. Even after moving to Brookdale Grand Court - she insisted upon still having bridge in her apartment - even if it was only two tables. Glenda was also actively involved with her extended family. Family reunions always held a place in her heart. She enjoyed her involvement with the Newcomers Club, Friends of the Library, and as a member of the Gleaners Class at Southcrest Baptist Church. Glenda was loved by her family and friends. She will be missed by her family, bridge friends, Emmaus friends, and her Sunday School class.
Survivors include her brother, Larry Moses; her children, Scott King and wife JoDee; Kris Tullos and husband Carl; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jimmie Wayne Wygal, and second husband Harmon Leon King Jr.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 2 p.m.at the Ralls Cemetery in Ralls, Texas.
