Foy Mac
Addison Jr.
Oct 26, 1935 — May 17, 2025
Lubbock
Foy Mac Addison, 89, of Lubbock, departed this life journey on May 17, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. Foy was born to Foy Mac Addison, Sr. and Floyce Pauline Crout on October 26th, 1935, in Denton, Texas. He met and married his wife Mildred Seal in Brownfield, TX on December 10th, 1976, where they went on to spend many loving years together.
Foy was an avid golfer and was always up to play the full 18 holes. His daughter Cindy said he had bowling trophies lined up throughout the house, so you could say he was a professional of sorts. He also enjoyed spending his time with relaxing hobbies such as hunting and fishing. Although he loved the peace the outdoors brought him, he loved spending time with the people that he loved and cared about. From his time as mail carrier, Army veteran, neighbor, patron, and friend, it seemed as if there wasn't a soul that he didn't know. Many people appreciated him for his kindness and endless work ethic, as Foy always wanted to make sure the people he knew were taken care of.
Foy was preceded in death by his parents; Foy Mac Addison and Floyce Pauline Crout and one brother.
He is survived by his two daughters; Cindy Henslee and husband Ron of Mckinney, TX, Machelle Quick and husband Mike of Holt, MO, three sons; Micheal Cook and wife Kim of Shallowater, TX, Carl Cook and wife Angela of O'Donnell, TX, Gregory Addison of Abilene, TX, his close cousin; William Upchurch and wife Betty, and his eleven grandchildren to whom he loved dearly.
