Florita (Flores) Childers, 56, of Lubbock passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was born May 16, 1959 in Dimmitt, Texas to Manuel and Concepcion (Rodriguez) Flores. Florita loved cooking, playing Bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Florita is survived by her three daughters; Victoria Childers and Michelle Flores both of Lubbock; Felisha Childers of Crosbyton; five brothers; Joe, Larry, Manuel, and Noel Flores of Crosbyton; Robert Flores of Watauga; four sisters; Mary Ann Martinez of Lubbock; Sylvia Villa, Gloria Reyna, and Lucy Garza all of Crosbyton; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be 7 pm Friday, January 15, at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Funeral Mass will be 11 am Saturday, January 16, at San Jose with burial following in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
