Fidencio Herrera, Sr., 81, of Crosbyton passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born July 11, 1943, in Castanos, Coahuila, Mexico to Gonzalo and Consuela Vasquez Herrera. Fidencio was the eldest of nine children. He worked for the seed company and the gin in Crosbyton for several years. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Fidencio is survived by his wife, Maria, of Crosbyton; three sons, Fidencio Herrera, Jr. and wife Patty of Yorkville, IL, Carlos Herrera of San Antonio, TX and Danny Herrera of Lubbock; one daughter, Victoria Padilla and husband Johnny of Lubbock; and nine grandchildren.
