Federico Castillo, 82, of Ralls was called home into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on Tuesday December 31, 2019. Federico was born March 2, 1937 in Edcouch, Texas to Carlos and Petronila Castillo.

Federico's occupation was working at the gin for many years and also as a welder. He was a hard worker and a handyman that was always willing to help others. He was a member at the St. Michael's Catholic Church. Federico will truly be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Velma Contreras and seven brothers.

Those left to cherish his memories are his five sons; Lupe Castillo, Federico Castillo Jr., Juan Jose Castillo, Apolonio Castillo, Gilbert Castillo, seven daughters; Maria Ninfa Cortinaz, Velia Moreno, Sylvia Muniz, Nora Ramirez, Belinda Delgado, Patricia Sanchez, Sandra Castillo,  two brothers; Francisco Castillo and Mateo Castillo both of Edcouch, Texas, five sisters; Simona Garcia of Edcouch, TX, Paula Nino of Edcouch, TX, Maria Amada Rivera of Comanche, TX, Luisa Nino of Edcouch, TX, Alicia Perez of LaVilla, TX, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday January 04, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls with burial following in the Ralls Cemetery. A rosary will be held Friday January 03, 2020 at 7 p.m. at the St. Michael's Catholic Church.
