Euclid Alton Maze, 80, of Lubbock passed away June 1, 2016. He was born August 2, 1935 in Kalgary, Texas to James Alton and Estelle (Witt) Maze. He married Shirley Hancock on August 5, 1951 in Morton, Texas and they enjoyed over 64 years of their lives together. Euclid enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid junk collector. He was like a father to many in the area and he will be greatly missed by all.
Euclid was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Steven Brent Maze; and two grandchildren; Dirk Lehew and Monica Maze.
Euclid is survived by his wife Shirley of Lubbock; his son; Mark Maze of Villa Hermosa, Mexico; his daughter; Paula Lehew of Perryton, Texas; and his aunt; Sybol Brandon of Wichita Falls. Euclid will be missed by his grandchildren; Jason, Anthony, Eric and Michelle Maze; Elizabeth Hileman and 11 great- grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11 am Monday, June 6, at the Crosbyton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-6 pm Sunday, June 5, at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
