May 14, 1962 — May 18, 2025
Lorenzo
Estanislao "Dino" Mayorga, 63, of Lorenzo passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on May 18, 2025. He was born on May 14, 1962, in Slaton, TX to Pedro Mayorga and Bernalda Salas.
Dino loved and adored his two daughters; they were the loves of his life. He enjoyed spending his time with them, together they would enjoy his favorite hobbies of cooking, BBQing, listening to music, dancing and watching his favorite scary movies!! He was his daughter's biggest cheerleader and always wanted the best for his girls. Dino was a very dedicated and hardworking man. He spent 40 years working for Bristo Battery & Supply Inc. He had many close friends there and enjoyed his employment as a Parts Warehouse Manager. In years past, he and his late brother Marcos, were involved in a band for many years, the "Funatics & Mextones." He loved playing the drums and immersing himself in his rock-n-roll. He left us with many great memories of his rock-n-roll days. Dino also loved his Red Raiders, he and Marcos never missed watching a football game! He will be remembered for his love and compassion. He cared for many hearts and gained respect and love from his community. His many friends and church community will miss him greatly. He made an impact on everyone whom he encountered.
Dino was a member of San Lorenzo Catholic Church, where he grew up and was a very active member. He served as an Usher/Greeter, CCE Teacher Aide, a member of the Sagrado Corazon, cooking group "The Mextones". He was always actively serving where needed to help his parish community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Andrew, Marcos and Modesto Mayorga, his sisters, Cecilia Velasquez and Guadalupe Mayorga, his sister-in-law, Lupe Mayorga, and his nephews Jonathan and Joe Mayorga.
Estanislao is survived by his two sweet daughters; Shay and Sarah Mayorga, his brothers; Edward Mayorga and Daniel Mayorga, and his one sister; Mary Reid. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a big thank you to Bridge Hospice and their wonderful nurses and care team for all their help and also to all the precious people who kept Dino company and helped him where needed.
