Ernesto D. Villarreal Sr. 84 of Crosbyton passed away April 9, 2024. He was born September 4, 1939, in Sinton, Texas, to Domingo Sr, and Virginia DeLeon Villarreal. Ernesto married the love of his life, Petra Luebano on August 25, 1963, in Ralls, Texas. He was a farmer and a great provider for his family, he loved spending time with his family, and watching western movies. Ernesto was a big Cowboy and Red Raider fan, he especially liked watching Patrick Mahomes play. Ernesto was old school and raised his children to be good citizens, he knew everyone, and everyone knew him, he will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

Ernesto is preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 60 years; three daughters, Diana and husband Rick Lopez of Seguin, Norma and husband Rolando Cortez of Houston, Christina and husband David Rodriguez of Crosbyton, one son Ernesto Villarreal Jr. of Idalou; seven grandchildren, Andrew and wife Christina, Anthony Cabrera, Andrea Rodriguez, Jared Cortez, Alekzander Lopez, Araceli Rodriguez, and Ethan Cortez, one great grandchild, Rhett Cabera and his sister who is on the way.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Worship Center in Crosbyton, burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. A visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
