Ernesto "Ernie" DeLeon, 60,  of Crosbyton passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. He was born September 16, 1960 in Lubbock, TX to Porfirio and Jessica DeLeon formerly of Acuff. He mowed lawns in Crosbyton for many years. Most knew him as Ernie.

Ernie is survived by four brothers, Robert DeLeon, Juan DeLeon, Phillip DeLeon and Porfirio DeLeon, Jr.; one sister, Janie Paz; and his best friend since childhood (46 years), John Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Victor DeLeon; two sister, Francisca Garza and Gloria Zavala; and his beloved dog Nareeses.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.

Services will be 10 AM, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Crosbyton with Deacon Charlie Rubalcado officiating.

Interment will be in Lorenzo Cemetery.
