Earnest Pyle, 92, of Ralls passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. He was born on March 17, 1923 in Elida, New Mexico to Hansel and Dora (Sherrod) Pyle. He married Glenda Sessums in Canyon, Texas on April 2, 2004. Mr. Pyle was a farmer for fifty plus years in Crosby County. Earnest served in the Army Air Force during World War II and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Frances Pyle; and his son, Ronnie Pyle.

He is survived his wife Glenda Pyle of Ralls; his daughter Donna Brock and husband John of Comanche; his son Wayne Pyle and wife Linda of Gainesville; two step-sons; David Hampton and Melanie of Canyon; Heath Hampton and wife Ande of Shamrock; two step-daughters; Bridget Christopherson and husband Steve of Slaton; Denise Ramos and husband Jesse of Canyon; his sister Johnie Canter of Lorenzo; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6-7 pm Wednesday, September 30 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 1 at First Baptist Church in Lorenzo, with burial following at Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
