Dorothy Reed 95, of Ralls passed away June 28, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born April 17, 1922 in Ralls, Texas to Forest Storey and Bodie Mary Smith. She married Harold (moon) Reed on February 24, 1958 in Plainview. Dorothy was the oldest member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many of years. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of VFW. She made stuffed animals for many of years and residents of Ralls have enjoyed them. She also loved dressing them.
Dorothy Reed is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters.
She is survived by two daughters Nancy Blanco of Lubbock, Sherry McClement of Lubbock and one son, Jerry Green. Three Grandchildren Matthew Cox of Austin, Zachery Blanco of Lubbock, Justin Blanco of Seatle, and two great-great grandchildren; Isaiah Blanco, Savannah Blanco.
Visitation will be Friday June 30, 2017 from 6-7 P.M. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. The Service will be held Saturday July 1, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Ralls.
