Doris Marie Wilcox, 73, of Crosbyton passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was born October 17, 1947 in Floydada, TX to G.L. and Thelma Colston Fawver.

Doris was a graduate of Floydada High School. She married the love of her life, Edwin Wilcox, Jr. on January 23, 1968 in Floydada. Doris loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's many activities. She worked many years as a teacher's aide, and her love of children led her to help with the Special Olympics, Migrant program and the Life Skills Program. She loved to sew, crochet, and do multiple other crafts. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton.

Doris is survived by two daughters, Tammy Dunn and Terri Davis both of Crosbyton; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister, Mary Lou Sinor.

The family suggests memorials to Crosbyton Senior Citizens, 119 North Berkshire, Crosbyton, TX 79322.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Crosbyton with Rev. Les Reed officiating. Services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
