Doris Faye Robertson West, 81 of Crosbyton passed away on Saturday July 20, 2019 in Lubbock Texas after lengthy illness.

Doris was born Saturday August 7, 1937 in Crosby County, Texas. She was the daughter if Dennis and Lavert McDonald, Robertson. Doris loved all animals and enjoyed taking care of them, as well as visiting with her friends and family at anytime. She loved playing the piano along with her Daddy who played the fiddle, together they were the delight of the nursing homes on Sundays. Doris loved watching western movies, sitcoms and police crime shows.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Velma Mae Robertson, her brother Marland Robertson and a very dear friend Benard Hicks.

Doris is survived by four nieces; Melody and husband Richard Davis, Marla and husband Don Mason, Lynae and husband Heath Steele, and Amber D'Quae Steele. Doris is also survived six great-nephews, one great-niece, and six great-great nieces and nephews, and a multitude of favorite cousins who helped her in so many ways.

Funeral service will be held Saturday July 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Online condolences can be made at www.adamsfuneral.com.
