Donald Wesley Lester 68 of Lubbock passed away Thursday October 29, 2020. He was born April 05, 1952 in Detroit Michigan to Clarence and Helen Zever Lester. Donald married Melba Hodges on February 16, 1971 in Lubbock, Texas.  He loved listening to music especially Elvis Presley, he enjoyed doing woodwork and building with his hands, he was always willing to help anyone who needed carpentry work around their house.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years Melba Lester of Lubbock, four sons; Kenny Ryan Lester of Eunice NM., Wesley Lester of Lubbock, Donald Keith Lester of Poplarville Mississippi, and Aaron Lee Lester of Hobbs, NM., one brother; James Lester of Lubbock, and four sisters; Brenda, Darlene, Juanita, and Shirley. Donald also leaves behind six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 3, 2020 at the Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
