Don Leslie Dunlap, 80, of Lubbock, passed away on July 12, 2021. He was born April 21, 1941 in Hockley Co., TX to Floyd and Nell Marie (Cole) Dunlap.

He was a lifelong mechanic, and thus an avid car enthusiast. Don enjoyed camping, traveling, and going to Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) meets. Don also liked to watch the old westerns and the Home Alone movies. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy.

Don is survived by his life partner of 31 years, Joyce Nelson Dunlap; three sons, Shane Dunlap (Connie) of Lubbock, Shannon Reese (Tammy) of Odonnell, and Christopher Dunlap (Richard) of Yartmouth, MA; four daughters, Deborah Leigh Bailey (John) of Amarillo, Debra Joyce Hendrix (Raymond) of Spade, Yvette Ramos of Ft. Worth and Gina Martinez of San Antonio; one sister, Diane Michaelas of Ft. Worth; one brother, Ronnie Dunlap of Ft. Worth; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Scott Dunlap.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
