Dominga Canales Guzman 66, of Crosbyton passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2020. She was born on December 27, 1953 to Disidoro and Brigida Rodriguez Canales in Seguin, Texas. Dominga married the love of her life Victor Guzman in 1970 in Ralls and had four beautiful children.

Dominga was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a true warrior, a cancer survivor. With only an 8th grade education, she set a goal that she would achieve an Associate's Degree, and she did! Dominga was a woman of Faith who knew her God and who she belonged to. Determination and Fight were just a few of her attributes, along with her charismatic smile and contagious laugh that touched the hearts of many. She was a simple woman who found beauty in the smallest things. Our mother's door was always open to everybody and those who went, never left on an empty stomach or without a hug or a blessing. She loved to cook, tend to her flowers, and loved her animals. Our mother would tell us quite often "this life would be over soon and heaven last always". Fly high our beautiful lady.

Dominga was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Victor Guzman of Crosbyton, her son Victor Guzman Jr. of Lubbock, her three daughters; Stella Guzman of Crosbyton, Misty Meza of Lubbock, and Marie Guzman of Lubbock, her brothers; Tony Canales of Plainview, Jerry Guajardo of Houston, Marty Canales of Frisco, Adam Canales of Lubbock, and Joe Canales of Ralls, her sister Maria Palacios of Crosbyton, 15 grandchildren and also 15 great-grandchildren.
