David Shane Wallace, 45, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. He was born on November 13, 1969 in Slaton, Texas to Lonnie & Judy (Reasoner) Wallace. Shane grew up in Ralls and graduated from Ralls High School. He was a farmer in Crosby County. He loved the outdoors, spending time with family and helping others.


Shane was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Judy Wallace; paternal grandparents, Olen and May Bell Wallace; and maternal grandfather, Bates Reasoner.

Shane is survived by his wife Lara; a daughter; Nicole King of Austin; three sons; Blace Wallace of Canyon; Brooks Wallace of Idalou; and Bonnor Wallace of Idalou; his sister; Heather Cornelius and husband Dusty of Crosbyton; and his maternal grandmother, Dortha Reasoner of Lubbock.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 17 at First Baptist Church in Crosbyton, with Shannon Adkins officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
