David Obregon Sr., 53, of Lubbock passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019.

He loved music and being a musician. David loved his family, especially his grandchildren who he liked to take fishing. He enjoyed doing mechanic work and building model cars.

Though he became sick at a young age, he didn't let that slow him down.

David is survived by his mother, Lydia Guitron of Lubbock; two sons, David Obregon Jr. (Stephanie) and Isac Daniel Obregon (Miranda) both of Lubbock. ;one daughter, Valerie Ceballos (Paul) of Lubbock; two sisters, Linda O. Samarripa (Martin) and Lora O. Ratigan (J.P.) both of Dallas; and seven precious grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his niece, Michelle Samarripa; Dad, Isidro Obregon Jr.; his maternal and paternal grandparents and several uncles and other relatives.

A rosary will be held 7pm, Tuesday, July 16 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls, TX, and funeral mass will be 10am, Wednesday at the church.

Services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls, TX.
