Ralls, Texas—Danny Lee McDuff, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 2017 in the First Baptist Church in Ralls with Mr. Vance Davis and Mr. Kent Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
Danny was born on May 13, 1944 in the Fairview Community of Crosby County to W.C. "Dutch" and Gwen Marsh McDuff. He graduated from Ralls High School in 1962. He was an outstanding farmer all his life. He married Shannon Wyrick on July 14, 2000. He left behind many loving friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Shannon McDuff of Ralls, three daughters: Tiffany Gunderson and husband Will of Round Hill, Virginia, Kristy Herrington of Ralls and Laura Chaney and husband Jason of Lubbock, two sons: J.J. McDuff of Temple and Danny Wideman and wife Allison of Lubbock, one brother: Jim McDuff and Pam Taylor of Ralls, one sister: Linda Slater and husband Tommy of Odessa, six grandchildren: Hailey Herrington, Danny Herrington, Madelyn Wideman, Wilson Wideman, James Chaney and William Gunderson and one great grandson: Kase Mitchell.
