Danny K. Johnson. 71 of Lubbock, TX, passed from this life on December 24, 2021. He was born to Jesse and Luretta Johnson on February 24, 1950 in Winnfield, Louisiana. Danny graduated from Ralls High School, attended Lubbock Christian University on a track scholarship and graduated from Huston-Tillotson College.

Throughout his career, he worked at the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, Austin State School, own his own janitorial service, and delivered papers for the Lubbock Avalanche Journal. Danny enjoyed photography, fishing and watching his family members participate in sporting events. He was a member of the Faith First House of Hope and spent time volunteering with the church.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his children: Kim, Chad (Maggie), Warren, Dana, and Raynard; 5 siblings, Gwen (Willie) Peters, Bruce Johnson, Lynda (Pat) Shelby, Cynthia (T.L) McQueen and Gail Johnson; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
