Danny Nobel Hoots 61, of Crosbyton passed away April 26, 2024. He was born March 21, 1963, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Nobel Hoots and Laura Brown.

Danny, better known as Mr. Hoots was a beloved math teacher and also the National Honor Society sponsor at Crosbyton High School. Mr. Hoots always demonstrated his passion for mathematics and a genuine desire to see his students succeed. His dedication to the students and commitment as a teacher left an impeccable mark not only at CHS but also in the community of Crosbyton. Danny was also very passionate about his family, he loved listening to classic rock, and always enjoyed cooking. He will be dearly missed by his students, friends and loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother Laura Brown of Louisiana; his children, Hannah Aguirre of San Angelo, Rebekah Hoots of Dallas, Jaime Hoots of Dallas and Micah Hoots from Brownfield. He also leaves behind his brother, Cecil Hoots and his sister, Dianna Coon both of Louisiana and one grandchild, Jasper Aguirre.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Leah Hoots.
