Corina Huizar Talamantez, 90, of Ralls joined her husband of 70 years, Celestino, in heaven on December 30, 2021. They were married December 11, 1948 in Pleasanton, TX. Celestino preceded her in death on April 1, 2018.

Corina was born August 31, 1931 in Verdi, TX to Bruno and Mauricia Casarez Huizar. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Corina taught her children to withstand the storms in life and make the best of difficult times.

She is survived by four sons, Florentino, Ezequil, Celestino, Jr. and Steven; six daughters, Yolanda, Odelia, Alesia, Lydia, Corina and Modesta; five sisters, Mary, Juana, Rita, Consuelo and Esperanza; two brothers, Celestino and Victor; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband; parents; one son, Estacio Talamantez; two granddaughters, Modesta Ramirez and Estrella Rivera; one grandson, Joseph Talamantez; and one sister, Leonar Moya.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.

Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Thursday January 6, 2022 at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls with Father Jeganathan Arulsamy officiating. Interment will follow in Idalou Cemetery, Idalou, TX.
