Connie Diane Rice, 67, of Lubbock (formerly of Spur, TX) passed away March 4, 2018. Visitation will be held at
10:00 a.m.
prior to the funeral services at
11:00 a.m.
at the Full Gospel Church in Roaring Springs, Texas. Burial will follow in the Dickens Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Connie was born April 3, 1950 in Memphis, Texas to Allen and Christine Edwards Brummett. She married Cecil Renay Rice on June 1, 1969 in Quitaque, Texas. She loved serving the Lord, taught Sunday school and enjoyed being part of ministry with her husband for 30 plus years. Connie loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved serving others by cooking at Roaring Springs youth camp for many years and working in home health care.
She is preceded in death by her husband, father, and daughter Tammie Rice.
Connie is survived by her mother Christine Brummett of Quitaque, two daughters; Tonya Braly and husband Jamie of Spur, Teresa Goins and husband Timothy Elkins of Hobbs, NM, two sons; Tim Rice and William Denton of Lubbock, Ronald Rice and wife Reva of Tenino, Washington, one brother; Don Brummett of Quitaque, Texas, and eight grandchildren; Stephen and Jayme Braly, Riley and Regan Rice, Paul, Bryce and Justin Titus, and Kayla Taylor.
