Wayne Donathan, 85, of Ralls, passed away August 20, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas, surrounded by his family. He was born September 4, 1937 in Spur, TX to Pelham Carl "Jake" and Ruby Augustus Ware Donathan.

Wayne owned and operated Donathan Heating and Air Conditioning in Ralls until his retirement.  He was a member of the Ralls Lions Club, was on the Ralls city council, the Ralls Volunteer Fire Dept., where he also served as Fire Marshall. He was a huge "Jackrabbit" fan and loved watching old westerns.

He married Voncil Paschall on June 25, 1956 in Lorenzo, TX. She passed away in 2005. He married Pat Harrell Nunley, April 22, 2006 in Brownfield, TX.

He is survived by his wife Pat of Ralls; two sons, Lyle Donathan and wife Melodie of Wolfforth, TX, and Lance Donathan of Abilene; two step-daughters, April Gray and husband Geoff of Seminole, and Lesli Nolen and husband Breech of San Angelo; one brother, Cecil Donathan of Tool, TX; twelve grandchildren, Chelsea Donathan of Wolfforth, Brandt Donathan of Lubbock, Tanner Donathan of Farmers Branch, Cooper Donathan of Lubbock, Jake Donathan of Lubbock, Sam Donathan of Idalou, Keldon Gray, Kaighan Gray, Keaton Gray, and Karson Gray all of Seminole, TX, Ashley Barnes and husband Dustin of San Angelo and Skylar Nolen also of San Angelo; five great-grandchildren, and one on the way.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Lyniece Donathan; two brothers, Tommy Donathan and Bob Donathan; and one granddaughter, Annie Grace Donathan.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Ralls, TX.
